Best eyeliner for crepey skin

I like the look of eyeliner on older women but I've not had much success with it and I was wondering what you used if the skin around your eyes is loose?
Are there pencils that don't drag? If you use a gel or powder what brush do you use? Any other tips?
It may be that my eye shape doesn't suit eyeliner but I haven't given it a proper try yet.

I'm in my 30s but have sensitive eyes that hate dragging and/powder etc and I would highly recommend a felt tip liner type eyeliner, like LRP or Lancome artliner

NYX epic ink liner is AWESOME!!! I use it on my sister, mum, grandma and it looks flawless on them all!! And it's around £9!

Thanks
What about different colours?

@OldJoseph I believe they have black, white and brown. But they do have other liners which are purple, blue, pink, yellow~ and the rest!

Liquid felt tip style. I use the soap&glory one in black.
Glimmersticks from Avon are also good. Waxy crayon not liquid. Loads of colours.

I have the same question too. I find pencils a bit smudgy but have been told that liquid eyeliner is too harsh on older women, is this true? I am 57.

shinyNewPound · 07/03/2019 19:35

I use a liquid one with a brush (or an "old fashioned one" as described by the delightful person on the Chanel counter Angry).

I think liquid eyeliner can look a little harsh on an older lady if they go overboard with the feline flicks however I do think it can look nice if done modestly. I really rate the crayon type that is perfect middle ground between the liquid and a pencil though. Looks good on all ages.

Not after feline flicks, is there a crayon you recommend? I've tried a couple of the glimmersticks, they were OK, not great.

I always wear eyeliner and have done since my teens and so feel like I look 'odd' without it. I always used pencils but now I use dark eyeshadow. Generally a darker version of whichever eyeshadow I am wearing, or black as a base then go over with eyeshadow. it is brilliant! You just need a good eyeliner brush

Try the Mally shadow sticks. I've accumulated about 10 and love them. Lining, shadowing, shaping...

OldJoseph- L'oreal Infallible Gel crayon is a good one.
