Birch box, is it worth it

I signed up because I was temped by the free eyeshadow pallett but I wasn't impressed by the rest of the stuff
This month looks OK and I like the little drawers
I plan to glue gun them together and use for jewellery
Overall what is the opinion. Are they usually OK?

I did it at Christmas and enjoyed it but have now cancelled as I can't quite justify the cost. I am planning to have another go in the summer when I have reduced my advent stash. I will look out for a special offer. Or I might just do the M&S summer box.

I did 4 months, wasn’t using the stuff so stopped.

I really like mine. I never get to go to town and mooch any more so for a tenner a month (parking in town would cost 6 quid anyway) I can play with new stuff. I've had a few things I never would have tried or known about and have since bought full size. So for me it's a win.

I've found Glossybox is better than Birchbox. You get full size products from well known brand. I've got a Huda beauty liquid lipstick and lip liner before and I love them. I'd definitely recommend Glossybox first

No it isn't. It used to be good until they changed the reward system from collecting points that you could save up & spend the cash value in the Birchbox shop. (I got a free The Balm Eye Palette & Caudalie Tinted Moisturiser this way.)
Now you just get a percentage off products in the Birchbox shop.
I also got fed up of getting an hair product in my box even though I put it down as the least favourite item I wanted in my box.
I tried Glossybox for a 3 months which I liked but then the quality & luxury of the products was a bit hit & miss. I did like the reward system which gave you credits to spend at www.lookfantastic.com. (I got a free Rituals of Sakura shower foam this way)
I may go back to Glossybox in future if the next few boxes look good.
At the moment I suscribe to www.beautypie.com which isn't a beauty box but a 'luxury cosmetics & skincare shop that sellls items at factory prices. Apologies if you already know all about BeautyPie Smile
I am tempted by the Lookfantastic box this month.
I look at this website whichbeautyboxuk.com/ to see what each company has been offering or will offer.
