Best mascara for false lash effect

Hi all. I’ve been using Max Factor flash lash effect for years and it always did the job but lately I’m not getting the same effects. Maybe they’ve changed the formula or maybe it’s my nearly 50yo eyelashes! Happy to pay for premium brand that does the job. Recommendations please!

YSL Shock is ace - much better than their other classic one.
I bought Hourglass’s mascara asbit had rave reviews on here but much prefer the YSL one. Both are £££.

Thanks Milo. I’m allergic to touché eclat and it’s the only YSL product I’ve tried so nervous about their mascara!

The purple one from Wilkos is amazing. I also really rate the new benefit one- bad gal something? The newest one anyway. But to be honest the Wilko one is just as good and is £2.80

They're real by benefit is amazing £20 ish per tube.
The wand is pretty aggressive and gets every little lash but the mascara stays put for days (don't judge, I have small children who have been ill, cleaning my face was at the bottom of the list )
It is quite gloopy at first but stick with it!
The other thing to perhaps consider is an LVL lash. It's life changing.

I also love the lash princess by wilkos but find it doesn’t stay on all day. It does amazing things toy lashes but can only wear when I know I’m not out all day.

Also, have you tried warming your lash curlers with a hairdryer before using them? This really helps with any mascara

Thanks for the tips all. The LVL looks amazing but not sure the upkeep cost is in the budget!
