Lash lift kit - would you?

I bought a lash lift kit online and only noticed when it arrived that it is for salon use. Does anybody do their own lash lifts at home? Is it safe for somebody untrained? I'd say I'm generally pretty good at reading and following instructions, except I clearly didn't read the product webpage at all Wink

If you use it let me know! Was browsing them the other day unsure if I had the balls to do it myself. Probably, but make sure you patch test all the chemicals first

Nooo! I get lash lifts done professionally and it is so fiddly with so many stages that there’s no way you could do it yourself, especially since you need to keep your eyes closed whilst it’s done/

I’d do one eye at a time so I could wink and see what I was doing.... but I’m super gung ho about this sort of stuff!

I've done it a few times. I'd recommend looking up some videos on youtube before you first do it, they show you how to trim the shields and stuff like that.

The only difficult bit is getting the shields stuck to your eyelids (wipe your eyelids with alcohol or something else to remove any grease which would stop the shields sticking). All the other steps are simple but just getting the shields to stick and then getting your lashes to stick to the shields is quite time consuming especially the first time.

From there its no problem. I do both eyes at once (it would take forever otherwise), you're able to have your eyes open and blink while you do it.

If you've managed to do anything like dye your lashes before, you'll be grand

@miri1985 - which kit do you have?

I do my own eyelash tinting, but I wouldn't like to try doing a lash lift on myself. If you do give it a whirl, please please patch test any chemicals.
