How do I do that half bun thing???

I've devoured YouTube etc but I think the struggle is I'm not sure what to actually call the hairstyle I'm looking for 🤦🏻‍♀️. So I'm turning to you knowledge people.

It's high on the head but like half a bun... so a crescent shape/semi circle shape... if you see what I mean.

I've tried how I thought it must be done by putting grips in each side but it flops in the middle making the hair part to each side & look ridiculous

Do you need to buy a shaped hair donut?

I just googled half moon and crescent shaped bun and got you tube results and shaped donuts.

Now wonder you were struggling 🤣 found one site that said cut a third off a normal donut to create a crescent shape. They are cheap off eBay or cheapo shops often have them like home bargains or B&M.
