Green dress, tan boots. What colour tights?

Would you wear black or navy opaques with a green jersey dress and tan ankle boots? .

Definitely black. I think navy tights look odd in general though so would never own any!

Not navy imo. There’s no need to add another colour when you already have 2. I’d do black unless the green is quite light.

Hmmm, good point, I was assuming a forest green. A lighter green would require nude tights I think, especially with tan boots.

It's a forest green. I don't have black ankle boots unfortunately.

Charcoal grey.

For a dark green, either navy or black would work. For brown boots, only navy would work.

I don't like black and tan combination and never wear it so I would wear brown tights. Or navy - but never black.

I would wear natural or tan tights, tbh. I don’t like the look of dark tights with tan footwear, and I think any colour added would detract from the loveliness of the forest green.

I tried brown tights but definite tree vibe with that combo.
I'very seen some black boots I like so I think I'll buy those and go for the safe option.

I love that green dress, grey tights and tan boots combination actually. I think tan boots are sometimes the safe option whereas that look is quite fresh.

Nude thin though thick black opaque with dark tan looks ok in winter
