Is there one?

I'm sure I read something about Wilkos doing a good one but not sure what it's called?

How cheap are we talking?

All the L’Oreal mascaras I’ve tried have been great- as good or better than high end versions three times the price. They’re more often than not included in 2 for 3 promotions in Boots and Superdrug as well.

A lot of people recommend Essence mascaras which are £2-3, but I’ve found them quite hit and miss.

dreaminofholidays · 01/03/2019 22:19

I've found the Rimmel ones really good and they are usually on offer x

origamiunicorn · 01/03/2019 22:20

L'Oréal Miss Manga is the only mascara I wear now, it's amazing.

mrsfollowill · 01/03/2019 22:23

I like the Maybelline £4-5 one - pink tube with Green top- Great Lash it's called - used it for years!

Justkeeprollingalong · 01/03/2019 22:26

Rimmel Extra Lash, about £6. Beats all the 'posh' ones.

princessbear80 · 01/03/2019 22:27

Essence are the wilkos ones, they’re quite good. The Primark one in a gold tube is good too. My favourite cheapish one is Rimmel 3D.

dontticklethetoad · 01/03/2019 22:28

W7 mascaras are generally good.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 01/03/2019 22:29

Sainsbury's own one is good. Three quid, in a tube shaped like the Maybelline ones.

Catcrazy008 · 01/03/2019 22:30

Wilko essense this one

MUA amplify (I think) from Superdrug. It’s bullet proof and £3. I bought it on a whim and love it to death.

Itskayleigh96 · 01/03/2019 23:19

I have used a mascara before from Wilko and the brand is called Collection? However, if anyone is willing to invest or be gifted, the best one by far is Better Than Sex Mascara / Too Faced.

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 02/03/2019 10:05

For me it's always Bourjois volume glamour.

But I think your mascara preference really depends on what you eyelashes are like to begin with... Mine are long, so I don't want lengthening particularly, just volume and the Bourjois does that without clumping and fans them out in a way that I like. Also have greasy eyelids and it says put all day

I really like the Aldi ones. Find out what shape brush works best for your lashes, then try cheap ones in the same shape.

BlueMerchant · 02/03/2019 15:46

Maybelline -Great Lash
Soap and Glory -Thick and Fast

dontticklethetoad · 03/03/2019 16:14

Yes! What MadisonMontgomery says about brushes is very true.
The rubbery non bristle brushes suit me best.

Chicinwellies · 03/03/2019 19:30

Primark false lash

Wouldyouorshouldyou · 03/03/2019 19:32

Rimmel Extra Lash always sparks compliments. L'Oréal are pretty good and Maybelline in the yellow bottles. I've used them all for years now.

JustBeenNosey · 03/03/2019 19:35

The last one I bought was an NYX one and it's good. I hardly wear mascara though but it's alright

DownAndUnder · 03/03/2019 23:30

L’Oréal miss baby roll is the best mascara ever.

Calvinsmam · 03/03/2019 23:33

I really rate the Wilko one posted above.
I got it in a glossy box and was stunned when I found out where it was from.
I have tried so many mascaras and it’s the only one that doesn’t clump, flake or make my eyes itchy.

NameChanger22 · 03/03/2019 23:37

I like Showgirl by Barry M. It's a great product, it lasts a long time and the packaging is pretty. It costs about £5. I like it more than all the expensive mascaras I've used in the past.
