Which Fossil bag? Help me decide

I need a new everyday bag - to hold a couple of A4 notebooks on the days I work, plus usual handbag stuff (purse, keys, phone, snacks etc). Occassionally a pair of flats too.

Shortlist is currently:
Rachel Tote
Maya Hobo

What do you think?

I also unsure on colour... I usually alway go for tan/brown, but am slightly tempted by the black.

I like the hobo. I'd pick the colour that best goes with your wardrobe. That said, black is very wintry and we're heading into spring so ran might be the best choice

Definitely the brown hobo, it's gorgeous.

The straps on the tote are way too thin. It will dig in to your shoulder

I like the first, I don't like hobo bags though but they do seem popular!

But always get mine on ebay. Bought a Fossill navy cross body this week in perfect condition for £20.

I have the smaller brown hobo. It won't fit anything A4 in it.

One thing to note, I find it very heavy even when empty.

I have the tote, it's big! I don't use it every day but it's great for weekends away, holidays etc. It will definitely fit an a4 folder plus everything else you need to carry. It's a great bag imo. I love fossil bags, I have the backpack for every day use.

I don’t like hobo bags, they go out of shape and look like a sad sack!

Have you looked at Coach?

I finally got the Scout Hobo and another which I'm selling which holds A4 papers.

It's light as a feather and doesn't feel overly big
