ISO conservative but stylish dress

Does it exist? On a work event for a few days, I am representing a charity, which expects me to wear a 'conservative' dress or skirt (preferably sits just above the knee). Feel a dress would be more versatile. Must be smart/casual, I prefer to lean more casual (dark denim?) so I could wear again with vans again in the summer. I've been trawling sites all day, can anyone help?!

White Stuff sometimes have knee length dark denim jersey dresses that tick that box. I have one from a year or two ago that is very useful. And with pockets. Stylish depends on whether it suits your shape TBH. Mine is very plain, shift style with 3/4 sleeves, boat neck and no detail, but with a simple blazer/jacket over, it would look reasonable in most situations.

Homeyee dresses on Amazon are my preferred place for church dresses if that helps. They're really good quality and not too expensive, as well as being the it dress off a number of news anchors and weather presenters across the USA. :)

@xingming I found a denim white stuff one, and all sold out Envy, shift style, looked good!

@AnnieOH1, thanks, never heard of them, will look them up.

@nowlook, thanks, I like that, hadn't come across that one. Quite like jersey for comfort when out of my comfort zone Grin

@Mrs9C
Do let us know if you find something in denim. I'm a sucker for this kind of thing (.possibly sans pouffy shoulders)

I think so. I like the denim to be stiff enough to skim lumps and bumps
