Micellar water vs normal eye make up remover?

Hi,

I usually buy a normal eye make up remover but got a sample of micellar water which seems to work well. Is there any real benefit to either? And can anyone recommend a reasonably priced one?

Go prefer micellar water because it doesn’t leave my skin greasy like some make up removers can, or dry it out. Garnier do a few different ones which aren’t too pricey

micelles water. As Pp said, doesn't leave the skin greasy and can be used if you just want to freshen up your face quickly too

I use both, as I prefer dedicated eye makeup remover, and then follow with micellar water to take facial makeup off before final wash with cleansing balm.

I usually use Clinique Take the Day Off for Lids and Lashes. However, I tried the Garnier dual action one (the one you have to shake to mix the products) and that worked equally as well so will happily repurchase that. I also use the Garnier micellar water for sensitive skin - then one with the green lid - and again would repurchase.

My makeup is mainly eyes hence thinking I need something dedicated. How her micellar does feel nice, could be in my mind though!

Using micellar water has really improved my skin IMHO. Like you, my only real make-up is eyes. I like the way my skin feels after use too.

I use Avene. It lasts me ages.
