IT cosmetics cc cream

I'm looking to buy the original cc cream as it looks like the type of thing I'm after! But I have no idea what shade I would need, how do you choose your shade online? Judging by the shade pics I think I would be fair maybe fair light! Confusing!

I’m no use on shade advice as I haven’t tried it but if you buy it on QVC and it’s not right you can send it back for a refund.

They have a deal with a brush included too. I’ve been hovering around the add to basket button myself.

Olivecake · 28/02/2019 08:22

Agree with the above advice on ordering where it can be returned/exchanged in case you get the wrong shade.

I use fair and when swatched I didn’t see much difference with fair-light, except fair-light was maybe a little more pinky and fair more neutral/yellow.

It’s a lovely product, I’d definitely recommend it!

whymewhyme · 28/02/2019 08:52

Ooooh qvc totally forgot you could send back!! Thank you 🙏

The set on qvc looks great value at £50, with the C.C. cream, brush, mascara and palette, considering the cream on its own is £33.....

UpToonGirl · 28/02/2019 11:00

Can you get into a boots? It's stocked there now, even if you just got a colour matched and then ordered the QVC deal. I'm fairly pale and have the lightest shade.

Housewife2010 · 28/02/2019 11:02

Larger Boots sell It Cosmetics now so it would be best to go in to swatch. I'm Mac NC20 and wear Fair. I haven't tried the new Fair/light yet.

whymewhyme · 28/02/2019 12:04

Didn't realise it's in boots!!! Thanks everyone!

They're in Selfridges too

janinlondon · 28/02/2019 14:38

I paid for the IT CC but the new Boots one looks like a total dupe and I'm thinking I should have waited...

pangolina · 28/02/2019 16:46

I've heard that this offers good coverage for rosacea, does anyone know if that's true?

BiggFactHunt · 28/02/2019 16:50

pangolia I have the CC Cream and the Bye Bye Redness and I prefer the latter.

saythatagain · 28/02/2019 16:56

I was introduced to IT last year by my sister in law. Bought it off QVC - love it! Gives great coverage and with very little product too. I use their brush to apply. Their mascara is great too. (All in the same bundle deal if that makes sense?)
My only negative is that, for me, I can look a little shiny. I like a very natural face, but that’s a big ask at 51!

Cheesymonster · 28/02/2019 17:05

janinlondon do you know the name of the Boots dupe please?

lalaloopyhead · 28/02/2019 17:21

I had the QVC bundle of auto delivery subscription and I found it really good value. The CC cream included is the illuminated version though and i have to use the powder in the pallete otherwise look way to shimmery! The mascara is the best I have ever used though and will continue to buy that.

lalaloopyhead · 28/02/2019 17:24

Sorry, totally forgot you asked about colour! In bare minerals I use light or fairly light - I am fairly pasty. For the IT CC cream I went for medium and it is fine, though a fairly yellow tone, I don't think I would have needed a lighter one at all.

janinlondon · 01/03/2019 08:23

Cheesymonster I am wrong - the dupe is maybelline, (but I saw it in Boots).

ZaraW · 01/03/2019 10:36

I'm very pale and use fairly light.

Lotsofthings · 01/03/2019 18:11

I’m sort of Celtic complection, dark hair pale skin, blue eyes, I tested fair, fair light and light. I use to use Laura Mercier tinted foundation in Nude, and find the fair light the closest match to this, the fair is very light cream, and the light is too orange for me, but I can mix those together and get anyway with the combination, although fair light is better, it has a pinky undertone. The IT foundation brush is well worth getting.

Housewife2010 · 02/03/2019 11:07

I like very light coverage bases. I use one pump of the IT Cc cream with a damp Beauty Blender. For me this is my highest coverage base. Lighter bases I use are Glossier Skin Tint, Chantecaille Just Skin and Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue.
