Tinted moistoriser that actually adds colour?

Have very pale, deathly skin. I need something that doesn't match but actually adds colour? I am 43 and have combination skin.

Surely if you add colour your face won't match your neck/body? Wouldn't you be better off with a colour match and then liven up your face with blusher, lipstick etc?

Tomtontom · 27/02/2019 14:36

How about a fake gradual tan, all over not just your face.

Foundation etc that doesn't match your skin is going to look really bad. The right blusher can do wonders without looking fake.

Estée Lauder daywear (the tinted one not the normal moisturiser) is nice, it matches to the tone of your natural colour so doesn't look at all fake. It gives enough coverage on its own, I use it without any foundation (but I hate the feel of make up on my skin anyway).

Also Tan Luxe at space nk is a great fake tan, mix 2-4 drops in your normal moisturiser a couple of times a week, it's really natural looking, just brings a nice glow. You'd prob only need 2 drops if you're quite pale.

I'm pale & like to use Boots no7 BB cream. I do use a colour that compliments my natural skin colour though.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 27/02/2019 17:05

Origins Ginzing tinted moisturiser spf40 is amazing and you need only a small amount.

MissKittyBeaudelais · 27/02/2019 17:08

I stick with a TM or BB which is right for your skin’s colour and then warm up with a light bronzer/blusher. That’d be better for you. Go have a play at the counters. Try Bobbi Brown. They’re good at that sort of thing.

MissKittyBeaudelais · 27/02/2019 17:09

I’d stick 😐

Ive recently started using Nars and love it, it evens out my skin tone and is buildable. Also high spf, i went onto Nars site to find right shade for me

I'm using a cheapie Nivea tinted moisturiser at the moment and finding it really good.

Happyclappy20 · 28/02/2019 09:33

Thank you in going to try some of these. Can you get samples of estee lauder?

Another Boots no7 BB cream lover here. It just gives a lovely glow.

appointmentsaretheworst · 28/02/2019 09:51

First Aid Tinted Moisturiser is incredible

MissKittyBeaudelais · 28/02/2019 10:52

No7, Lancôme and Estee Lauder are good for samples. Just make it clear you’re not buying TODAY... just “in the market”. It takes the pressure of a sale off.

countdowntonap · 28/02/2019 22:46

Eborian CC cream is amazing. Makes my skin look so healthy.

Coffeepot72 · 01/03/2019 10:22

Another vote for Boots No 7 BB cream - a nice wash of colour, but looks very natural. If I buy any sort of foundation, no matter how light, that matches my skin tone perfectly, I look ridiculously pale. I like products that offer a touch of warmth/colour.

youvegottobekidding · 01/03/2019 10:45

Is this the Boots no 7 BB cream? Sorry to hijack, I'm looking for a new BB cream!

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser is fab - you can also build up the colour
