Trainers for every day

If converse and vans make my feet feel as if someone has bashed them with a rolling pin, what trainers will be comfy?

I run (slowly) and have Brooks for actually exercising- but I walk loads in the day, and would like a pair of nice looking, but comfy trainers.

Would Air Force ones do it? Are those Fila trainers actually comfortable?

What is cool? I don’t think I know what is cool anymore 😂.

I have these

I'm on my feet all day at work and my feet don't suffer

Scarydinosaurs · 26/02/2019 22:53

Thank you! They look perfect.

Do you wear them with dresses?

Sorry, but if you want cool don't get Sketchers. Air Force one are much cooler.

EdWinchester · 26/02/2019 22:56

I have 2 pairs of Adidas Superstars, white with black stripes and white with rose gold stripes.

I bloody live in them and they are so comfortable and look great with dresses too.

EdWinchester · 26/02/2019 22:57

...and Skechers? OK if you're over 70 Grin

Scarydinosaurs · 26/02/2019 23:05

Edwinchester that’s what I had and today my feet are aching. Same as when I had my converse/vans before.

I’m guessing I need something really cushioned? It actually feels as if I’ve bruised the side of my foot today.

I can't wear Converse, but my Adidas seem totally cushioned.

Scarydinosaurs · 26/02/2019 23:10

^^ edit I mean I have had Adidas superstars and they hurt my feet

Scarydinosaurs · 26/02/2019 23:11

edwinchester maybe I’ve hurt my foot running then, and I’m blaming my superstars unfairly...

Veja, more cushioned than Converse etc. Range of different colours to chose from.

Converse, Vans etc are extremely flat which can make feet ache. Addidas can be too but more cushioned. Nike, New Balance, ASICS are a bit more built up at the back IME.

WoahThereMama · 27/02/2019 07:59

I’ve loads of trainers but my most comfy by far are my Nike Air Max. They’re like walking on clouds. Plain white Nike Air Force 1 are next on my list to get and are look just as comfy.

I found Veja a nightmare to break in. One of the most uncomfortable and painful things I’ve ever had!

Fazackerley · 27/02/2019 08:02

According to my very fashion conscious dd, sketchers are in fact cool. The fat ones that look like 80s throwbacks

Fazackerley · 27/02/2019 08:03

I live in Stan smiths with a scholl sports insole. Like slippers.

Racheyg · 27/02/2019 08:04

I wear Stan smiths. New balance look pretty cool imo

angstypants · 27/02/2019 08:13

I have a pink pair of Nike Air Max Thea's.
Soooo comfy and go with everything.
Get lots of compliments on them!

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 27/02/2019 10:31

G1llybean · 27/02/2019 10:44
