Help I have no style, interview coming up

On Mat leave with DC2. 2babies in 18months. I wasn’t stylish before, and now I’m 3stone overweight and scruffy as hell.

Got a really exciting job interview coming up and literally nothing to wear that doesn’t have holes in or is older than my children...

I’m 5ft9, size 14/16 top, 18 bottom (pear shaped). Waist is ok, tummy is saggy. Cropped blonde hair (this is fine - good hairdresser!). Pale complexion.

Interview will be smart casual, suit would be overkill for the company.

I live in straight/skinny jeans, converse, long sleeve T-shirt’s - mostly old stripy maternity tops. Don’t wear makeup day to day.

In my old life I was a bit alternative, but no idea what I like now.

can anyone help me??

would something like this work with a statement silver necklace and maybe boots/heels/flats?

NeedAMakeover · 26/02/2019 21:27

Thanks sleep I’ve never seen that site before, and the dress could work.
I actually like this one www.jdwilliams.co.uk/shop/floralpink-bardot-prom-dress/gl793/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=9151#colour:Floral/Pink,size:14

Maybe I should look at a top and skirt instead, I think the shape would suit but pink doesn’t look great on me.

Black skinny jeans, longish blouse, ankle boots? Matalin have some nice blouses that won’t leave you broke.

What about skinny stretch trousers with a nice blouse/top and a Jersey blazer? Or a blazer a different colour from the trousers

Not sure if this link will work, searched for blazer, and there's a bunch of different ideas if you have a look at the pictures

This is really smart with a jersey jacket it will make you look taller

Don't divide yourself up in a dress as it will make yourself looker wider and shorter
