I've got dry 50 year old skin and want a ( preferably) paraben/bad stuff etc free cream or oil that I can slap on rapidly of a morning and immediately get dressed...... would love any suggestions. Thanks !

E45 Lotion in a pump bottle has really helped my skin. There are two different types I think, but have used and like both. Also have used Aveeno in the past

Cerave cream in the tub.

Lush dream cream

Aveeno Cream (not Aveeno Lotion) - amazing stuff.

Excellent body moisturiser please .......

Clarins moisture rich body lotion. I use it everyday and it's the best thing ever.

Bio oil is good and doesn't stain clothing..

Girlinstripedpyjamas · 25/02/2019 21:15

Soaper Duper is nice and ticks the no parabens box too

myidentitymycrisis · 25/02/2019 21:16

Aveeno is excellent IME

MairzyDoats · 25/02/2019 21:17

Aveeno here too (the one with the blue lid) moisturises from morning shower until bedtime!

certainlymerry · 25/02/2019 21:18

Is Aveeno paragon free though?

certainlymerry · 25/02/2019 21:19

paraben

Luckingfovely · 25/02/2019 21:24

Clarins moisture rich body lotion is also my favourite.

If that's too spendy, then Aveeno.

Bio Oil is lovely but greasy.

GeorginaLS · 25/02/2019 23:24

Thank you very much.. will try them! Interesting Telegraph piece though @certainlymerry ... eek.

I love the Clarins one too. I know people love Aveeno but it didn't do anything for me. My second favourite is Nutrogena.
