Eyebrows

Does anyone dye their own eyebrows? If so what do you use and do you rate it? I'm looking at Maybelline tattoo stuff or Eylure Dybrow.

i use eyelure. black for lashes, brown for brows. needs to be left on for 5 mins (at least!). i mix a bit of the black and brown together.

I dye my own, there is a cheaper dupe for the eylure dye kits in bodycare, very simple to use. If not, I would go for the eylure

Eyelure for brows -dark brown. Quick, easy, foolproof.
Avoid Eyelure for lashes though- it's a right faff. You have to do each set of lashes in 2 stages. I got it all over my cheeks and it didn't even dye the pale ends of my lashes. Still looking for something better.

Thanks I'll give eyelure a go I think. I have fair eyebrows and they are quite sparse so I guess the dye is designed for that.

I have blonde eyebrows and used to use Eylure until they changed the formula and now it's rubbish.
Another MNer put me on to Julienne, which you can buy on EBay. It's brilliant - like Eylure used to be - and cheap as chips.

I use the brown on my brows and the blue-black on my lashes. You buy the little tube and mix hydrogen peroxide to it (sold separately).
(I just use my Specsavers hydrogen peroxide contact lens solution and it works perfectly.)

I can help you further (after years and years of trying different products) by telling you that Eylure blonde precision brow pencil and Benefit Gimme Brow gel in the lightest shade are excellent for creating natural brows where your natural ones are sparse / non-existent. Not a Sharpie in sight. 😌🙌🏼

Clinique and M.A.C. do a good blonde brow pencil too but they are v expensive. There's no brow gel I have tried that's anywhere near as natural coloured and smudge proof as the Benefit one. But it does last ages.

Thanks so much for all the tips - I use a brow pencil already and I'm just getting a bit bored of drawing them in every day - I'll take a look at Julienne as well as the eyelure and will try the eyelure pencil while I'm at it.

I used Maybelline tattoo stuff, but this is more of a long-lasting colour than a dye. Will stay a day or two, no more. You can also get equivalent products from Aliexpress a lot cheaper, I tried several and they're all the same.

As I also got tired of drawing them on, I got mine tattooed. They're fabulous.
