Any tips on how I can stop this happening please? It drove me nuts yesterday

Hairspray is meant to work. Spray it on your tights.

Slip or underskirt.

Rub a tumble dryer sheet inside the dress and that should work.

Put a safety pin inside the dress touching your skin

An underskirt. That's what they're for.

Slip. It should help the line of the dress sit better too.

Petticoat.
That's what M&S is for.

Moisturise legs well then tights on. Small Amount of moisturiser rubbed over tights and/or inside of skirt. I do this under trousers also. Just be careful it’s not greasy (I use simple light) and/or won’t leave mark on, eg, silk skirt.
