Spa day?

I grew up pretty poor and haven’t really done anything like this before so thought I’d ask on here before making a tit of myself in publicGrin I recently booked a spa day package in London for myself and my sister for her graduation gift - includes a full body mask, body peel, hair mask and access to relaxation room. I’m not sure of the etiquette of what to wear or bring with me?

When I booked the appointment slot, the lady on the phone mentioned bringing a bikini and towel. I don’t know how to swim and so have never worn a bikini in my life, don’t know if I’d ever feel comfortable enough to wear one either tbh. Would a cheapo one peice swimming costume from primark be suitable? Or would there be no point since it would cover too much of my body? I figured bra and knickers is the same as a bikini but doubt that’s suitable to prance about in front of others so I’m at a bit of a loss.

So wise ladies of MN where spa days seem like the norm - wwyd?

Swimming costume is fine. You'll also need flip flops. Check if they provide robes or you need to bring your own/ hire one.
