What is your favourite brand of blusher?

I'm looking for one that lasts all day ideally! I tried an Estee Lauder one recently that I liked, though I've tried lots of brands over the years...

I tend to use some highlighter as well as blusher.

Sleek Rose Gold is even better than Nars Orgasm which has always been my favourite and is a quarter of the price (I have both)

PCohle · 23/02/2019 09:26

I like the Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes but sleek are a great cheaper option.

Lamentations · 23/02/2019 09:27

I came on to say Estée Lauder. I have Lovers Blush and it's the best one I've ever tried.

Greenteandchives · 23/02/2019 09:30

Benetint. Makes me look less as if I have been exhumed.
Nothing else. I dislike powders and cremes. I still mourn the discontinuation of a lovely product by Helena Rubinstein, which was like Benetint in a stick. Cant remember the name of it, as it was so long ago.

Lumene · 23/02/2019 17:23

Hourglass

Lumene · 23/02/2019 17:30

Also benetint

sammy891 · 23/02/2019 22:36

Clinique

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/02/2019 22:58

For powder, Nars or Hourglass. Cream, MAC or Bobbi Brown.

@greenteandchives
Re your Helena Rubinstein stick... Is it discontinued or is it just that you cannot find HR in the UK?
HR is still sold in some european countries, best prices in Italy and Greece. I always stockpile when in Rome. PM if you ever go to Rome and I'll give you the name of the cheapest place in Rome for HR.

Orgasm by Nars for me, although Dandelion is also very good. However Dandelion works more expensive for me as, considering size and price, Orgasm lasts longer.

LaBrujaPiruja · 24/02/2019 12:11

Btw, for Orgasm by Nars lovers, Space NK sells every now and then (I have bought it in two occasions) a limited edition XL size (8 gr) for the same price of the normal one (4.8 gr). Lasts forever, maybe that's the reason it works 'cheap' for me...

LesLavandes · 24/02/2019 12:26

Nars - The Multiple in Portofino

PCohle · 24/02/2019 12:33

I think it depends on your skin tone. Nars orgasm looks odd on me because it's so peachy and I'm quite cool toned. Deep throat looks much better because it's much cooler and more mauve.

Just mentioning it because I think Orgasm gets mentioned so much as being universally flattering.

luckylavender · 24/02/2019 13:25

After years of spending too much on makeup, I've ditched Nars & Benefit & now use Soap & Glory blusher. It's very good. Benefit really doesn't last long for the price.

Violetroselily · 24/02/2019 13:40

Benefit minis are 3 for £27 in Boots. I have some blushes (including Dandelion) and they're a decent size.

I also love Dandelion Twinkle which is the highlight version

SexNotJenga · 24/02/2019 13:47

I like the rose benetint on cheeks and lips. I'm very lazy.

Violetroselily · 24/02/2019 14:16

How do people apply benetint? I dab on my cheeks and try to quickly blend with a blusher brush but I just end up with big red patches that just won't blend in

lablewhore · 24/02/2019 14:24

Nars Orgasm for me with Benefit Dallas too - I do use a bit of Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in the pinky colourway and this is lovely too

SexNotJenga · 24/02/2019 16:43

Rub benetint in straight away with my fingers. Got to be quick!

Greenteandchives · 24/02/2019 17:28

LaBruja the Helena Rubinstein blusher stick was actually discontinued long ago but thanks for the information. I haven’t looked for HR for ages, but will be sure to check next time I go to Italy or Greece. Just in case!
And yes, Benetint has to be blended quickly with the fingers. A dot on the cheeks and chin, quick blend and done.

BuffaloCauliflower · 24/02/2019 17:29

Hourglass ambient lighting blush, I’ve got a few colours.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 24/02/2019 19:10

Nars Bumpy Ride, it's perfect pink.
