HELP!! 5 weeks to grow some eyebrows

Nofuckingeyebrows · 22/02/2019 16:51

I’m getting married in 5 weeks. Went and had my eyebrows threaded today. The stupid Superdrug “beautician” has pretty much removed them completely. I look fucking awful. What can I do?!

I think they look ok. Not as nice as your own ones but fine.

TacoLover · 22/02/2019 19:20

I was expecting them to be a lot worse. I think they will grow back somewhat before the wedding, and I definitely don't think microblading is neededSmile

mummmy2017 · 22/02/2019 19:21

Never had mine done, but yes there is some differences, but not the hash job I thought you had.
They will bush out a bit by the wedding, I think it just looks much worse to you right now.

Nofuckingeyebrows · 22/02/2019 19:34

Thank you for the Wine TheCraicDealer, much needed! Grin

Also thank you for the nice comments about my “before” brows! I’d never really appreciated them... definitely not going to mess about with them in future!!

I think she was definitely lying, 45andahalf. She’s a cowbag.

I’m hoping that in a few weeks they will have grown back enough to not look ridiculous... I just think they’ll look sparse and shapeless. Hopefully the makeup artist can do a good job.

This is a non problem op! A decent eyebrow pencil will have them looking fuller. Mine are all over the shop and quite thin but I use a pen and draw little hair strokes into them and they look instantly fuller but not drawn in.

See a make up artist? Are you having make up
Done for big day? They'll fix them

Nofuckingeyebrows · 22/02/2019 21:04

Thanks for the reassurance! I’ve never really been one for heavy makeup and, in my head, “pencilled in eyebrows” always look awful but I’m hoping a professional will know how to make them look natural Smile you’ve all made me feel a bit better about it.

If they’re the before brows then I think they’ll be just fine before the wedding with a bit of pencil or something like gimme brow by benefit. Don’t panic!!

3luckystars · 22/02/2019 22:22

Castor oil?

shinyNewPound · 23/02/2019 09:52

Revolution eyebrow tint is amazing and cheep.

You could use it the day before (or even two days before it your worried about messing it up) and it will look lovely on the day.

Plenty of time to practice between now and then too.

Nofuckingeyebrows · 23/02/2019 15:15

shinyNewPound does the brow tint need eyebrow hair to tint, or does it work on the skin?

LostInShoebiz · 23/02/2019 15:49

They could be a lot worse but they’ve really not done a good job. You need to put the tweezers away entirely and not try to tinker. Health food shops also sell castor oil which is a couple of quid and much better than Rapid Lash.

WBWIFE · 23/02/2019 15:51

Coconut oil morning and night

coffeeandrainbows · 23/02/2019 16:08

Start taking prenatal vitamins or perhaps those hair, skin, nails supplements?

shinyNewPound · 24/02/2019 09:21

The tint works on the skin - but only for one day. The eyebrow hairs stay tinted for about 4 days. This video is what made me try it and my experience was the same - amazing stuff.

TinselAnd Knickers i hope this stuff works, as i have sent for some, but no instructions with it at all, is it safw for lashes,it smells very strong, and the brush seems a bit dry when iot comes out of the container

Fluffypot333 · 28/02/2019 21:43

A normal eyebrow tint will make them look them thicker and will last a couple of weeks

princessTiasmum · 02/03/2019 15:59

TinselAndKnickers i have bought some of the eyebrow serum you recommended from ETSY ,but i need to return iy,i dont know what they have sent me,its not a serum rather a very thick cream that doesnt stick to the brush, and no where saying how to return it, no invoice or statement in with it,
Have you any idea please,as you have bought it before how to contact them to return it,i am fuming that i cant use it or contact someone

princessTiasmum · 02/03/2019 17:46

Tinsel i have now managed to get in touch with Etsy, and asked for a full refund,i wasnt able to use the serum/cream as nothing came onto the brush, also charged £12-58 for postage,
Id do understand that anything of this kind which has been used cannot be returned, but wasnt used
It says £2-99 postage and the serum is £4, so no idea why i was charged £12-58

Frazzled2207 · 02/03/2019 21:47

I don't think they look too bad, 5 weeks and they'll be alright. Just don't go back to the same person!

TinselAndKnickers · 03/03/2019 10:57

@princessTiasmum sorry I have only just seen this! I have no idea, that's rather odd?! I haven't had any problems before so sorry I couldn't help. I do know that the seller does two versions and the prior one was more of a serum, that's very odd and a shame you couldn't use it! It is quite creamy and lumpy but I usually just rub it in. Sorry it didn't work for you Sad I have had some amazing results

princessTiasmum · 03/03/2019 12:09

Thank you for your reply, sorry i sounded so stressed about it, but couldnt find anywhere to contact someone
I have now got it sorted i think, the jady was lovely nd said she would send me another oil one, she asked for some pics which i sent and you can see clearly how thick the serum is, it just wont stick to the brush so couldnt get any out even to rub on,
I have tried it after putting the container in boiling water as suggested but doesnt make any difference, the brush comes out dry,
I think maybe the brush is too thick, so the serum is rubbed off as the brush is pulled out

JinglingHellsBells · 03/03/2019 13:14

Rapidbrow.

You might see growth in 5 weeks.

TinselAndKnickers · 03/03/2019 15:19

Yes she is lovely! She makes me custom orders for skincare which is great and really helped my acne scars. Hopefully the oil one will be better for you Smile

princessTiasmum · 03/03/2019 16:06

As i hadnt bought this before i didnt know there was a choice which i explained, but i said i was keen to try it as iot had been recommended
I would also like something that would help hair thinning, so will see how it goes

witchy89 · 03/03/2019 18:21

Don't panic! A good makeup artist will be able to rectify this with makeup! And make it look natural, there are lots of ways to achieve natural looking brows, not just heavy pencil! I would just leave them be for now and let them grow a bit. There are a few products on the market that can help with hair growth, I've used RapidLash before on my lashes and it really worked, I think they do a brow one. Might be worth a shot? But I wouldn't worry about getting them micro bladed or tinted!
