I am waiting for the beauty pie cleansers to finally get back in stock and in the meantime I need a one to tide me over.
I use origins oil cleanser to remove make up but need a second phase one.
Something really gentle and preferably cheap as I will be buying a beauty pie one once they are back in.

I like Cetaphil - it doesn’t do a great job of taking off make up but it does leave my (dry) face feeling really good so it’s perfect as a second cleanser.

La Roche posay do some nice ones but some are fragenced, boots have the brand on offer now & again. I also like Cerave Cleanser it’s in boots for £9 & fragrance free. I use the foaming one but they have a hydrating one too.

CeraVe hydrating cleanser is good, as is Superfacialist Vit C cleansing oil.

I use the hot cloth one from boots, I think it’s one of their own brands, Your Good Skin. I use it as a second phase after oil cleansing.

  • Boots Botanics Hydration Burst Dual Action Cleanser
  • Garnier Honey cleansing milk
  • Superfacialist Rose creamy cleanser

I've not tried the following but they're supposed to be good: Botanics cleansing balm, Superdrug hot cloth cleanser and the Alex Loves Primark cleansers.

I use the Body Shop chamomile cleansing balm and then Simple Age Resisting face wash - really gets everything off and dirt cheap.

It may not be exactly budget-price at about £20, but the DHC deep cleansing oil is brilliant: one pump, massage in and wash it off with warm water and a flannel. A 200ml bottle lasts me about six months. Maybe longer.

Super drug hot cloth cleanser Vitamin E range -lovely and creamy and worth something 10 times the price!

PersonaNonGarter · 22/02/2019 07:05

I’m using the No7 gel cleanser for second phase cleansing.

It’s lovely and there’s a No7 voucher at the moment (spend over £5 on something else) and Buy One Get Second Half Price, and you can use the offers together.

Ponds Cold Cream.

Aldi do their own version of Liz Earle cleanse and polish, it’s very very good

Another vote for the Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser. It's super cheap but does a great job.
