Best Tinted Moisturiser or BB Cream

I've been on maternity for a year and I'm about to go back to work. I've got used to not wearing any skin make up and my skin is so much healthier for it. I would like to wear a bit of something for work to help me look more polished but I don't want to go back to foundation.

Can anyone recommend a good tinted moisturiser or BB (or CC??) cream for pale, pink toned skin?

I have tried a few different ones for the same reason whilst on mat leave. If you don’t need heavy coverage the No 7 one is good and a reasonable option. However the best but pricier one is by IT cosmetics imo, the developer had rosacea I think so the coverage is amazing. I actually think it covers miles better than my normal foundation but is not the same consistency. They sell it is selfridges or boots but only online in boots. HTH!

I love the Garnier one. I've tried loads and keep coming back to that one. I can just swipe some on my face and look a whole lot better. Love it!

Alumier. It's also factor 40 and matte. www.alumiermd.com/product/12104

The no7 one that you mix with your foundation is good as you can use different amounts of drops for day or night

PG2018 · 20/02/2019 18:21

I second the garnier one. @JenDill what is the name on the no 7 one?

VittysCardigan · 20/02/2019 18:28

I love the Benefit Big Easy - nice & light but effective

JenDill · 20/02/2019 18:29

@PG2018 it's called match made custom blend

Bourjois do a good CC cream.

oldfatgreycat · 20/02/2019 18:41

Laura mercier tinted moisturiser is amazing. You can get oil free or not and a more dewy one and a variety of shades.

EvaHarknessRose · 20/02/2019 19:12

Body shop have some - I chose a peachy one, but they had a paler pink one.

StillCantDecideOnaUsername · 20/02/2019 19:14

Another garnier fan here! Tried loads but sticking with this one now. It's great!

spugzbunny · 20/02/2019 19:49

The Garnier one seems to be on half price at boots which is great! I am all manner of poor!

I LOVE the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturising balm. The 'light' tint suits my pale skin well. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way and a jar lasts me a good 4-5 months. www.johnlewis.com/bobbi-brown-extra-spf-tinted-moisturizing-balm/light-tint/p37415

MissKittyBeaudelais · 22/02/2019 19:44

Garnier Oil Free BB is good. Slim tube.

Applesaregreenandred · 22/02/2019 20:23

I use the cc cream from Aldi. I have quite sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate. It looks really natural but evens out my skin tone and gives a bit of a glow. I sometimes use on top of light moisturiser and sometimes in place of it. I have both light and medium skin tones and as my skin got more colour in Summer I mixed them together to get the exact colour.

Dafspunk · 23/02/2019 09:40

Garnier!

DocusDiplo · 23/02/2019 09:44

Can I add a question please? Any for Indian brown skin available in highstreet shops??

wonderwooman · 23/02/2019 09:47

Another fan of the Laura Mercier one here. I even mix it with my normal moisturiser - don’t know why, but it feels better!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 24/02/2019 06:22

This thread is timely, was about to start one myself!

I have bought the garnier one recommended, brilliant to get it half price.

I've also heard very good things about the Bobbi Brown one mentioned but at £45 I'm trying to hold off for now Smile

Ploppymoodypants · 24/02/2019 07:13

The Bbots no.7 is very good, but doesn’t last very long at all (couple hours max). So by I look all pink and blotchy again.
I will try Garnier. Thank you for the tip.

peeree · 24/02/2019 07:36

I've just started wearing this (in Beige). I like it a lot and am going to get rid of all my expensive attempts at a light foundation.

So tried the Garnier one this morn and it's a good product but not for me. Too full coverage.

If anyone would like me to post it on to them I'm happy to. I've literally used one tiny bit.

Bobble33 · 24/02/2019 08:51

I would love to try the Garnier BB cream if it's still available.

RuggyPeg · 24/02/2019 08:54

Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/02/2019 09:12

I’m looking for this elusive product too. Something really light, currently keep reverting to Clarins beauty flash balm.

My question though, all the above are not by cruelty free companies. Can anyone recommend one that is?
