Black Mascara that won't trash my delicate eyelashes

I've never had this problem before, but recently my eyelashes have been destroyed by 'too sticky'
mascara.
Anyone recommend a mascara that is easy to remove and won't stick to my lashes like glue (I know that's what they are designed to do) but is more gentle.
I would like to just give my lashes a break from mascara for a bit, but people ask me if I'm ill if I don't wear it Grin.
Am trying to remember the castor oil at night too which I'm hoping will help.

I use the boots natural collections ones. I've used them for over 10 years and they are just as good as any of the fancy ones. I've got very fine eyelashes too and I've never had a problem with them being ruined. They're really cheap too!

Rimmel wonderfull. It has argan oil in for conditioning.

The only one I can tolerate is lily lolo. Easy to remove and doesn't irritate my eyes.

Clinique mascaras are great imho. I find my eyelashes break with cheaper brands.

Maybelline Snapscara. One of it's selling point is it's easy to wash off and it actually does!

Alternatively, I've occasionally left with eyeliner on, forgetting to put on my mascara, and don't notice until halfway through the day, so that might be an option?

I like the no. 7 mascara which forms tubes. Sorry can't remember the name.

Doesn't smudge and is easy to just wash off with water.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I will work my way through the list!

I've just had my very blond lashes tinted and permed. Amazing.

I’ve delicate and sparse eyelashes post chemo. I use Chanel or Clinique when I’m using makeup.

DHC. It washes off with water, oil based, but stays put. Only in black
