I should clarify that I am an older woman, not someone going grey young or dyeing their hair grey.

I'm at that stage of having had longish (just below shoulder length) hair for-evah and am itching for a strong cut.
Or continue growing it long?

I can't help I have a (nearly grey) pixie cut.
I have grand plans to grow it but get to 6-8 weeks then have to cut it again

Oh I've had the pixie cut many times before. It's very very difficult to pass the 6-8 week itch.
I got through that last time, through the hideous growing it out stage and am well into 'I'm growing it long' phase with regular intervals of 'aargh, I must get this cut'
Hence this thread.

TNMA is good on grey hair and regularly interviews real but stylish women with varying degrees of grey hair.

CountFosco the woman in the transition articles is about where I am hairstyle wise (though sadly not in clothes or location wise) if I take the time to straighten it.
