If you would like to of course.

I'm loving multiple ear piercings and have an unhealthy obsession with Maria Tash jewellery.

This is the more interesting ear. The other has a standard lobe and a high lobe piercing.

I love my ear piercings, they make me happy whenever I catch sight of them.

Double conch and rook, god I can see some grey 😯

@Cherylshaw did your rook piercing hurt? I’d like that or another cartilage piercing. Took would go on the “other” ear, cartilage would be on the one in the picture.

Jonsnowsghost · 18/02/2019 18:18

These are mine, I love them!

@QueenofLouisiana
Yeh rook hurt not as much as double conch but brought a tear to the eye! Still hurts now and again if I have been lying on that ear wrong

Bobbiepin · 18/02/2019 18:24

More presentable ear. There is also two lobe piercings I have nothing in currently and a surface piercing that I took out when it started to reject.

The other ear has a high vertical helix, a tragus and two lobe. I've always wanted to add a conch but never got around to it.

Bobbiepin · 18/02/2019 18:25

Oops forgot the photo

I don't have a picture at the moment. But I have 3 in each lobe and 2 in my left cartilage.
My 1st lobe was some as soon as i was old enough, so a couple of months I believe it was in those days. My 2nd lobe was done when I was 14. My 1st cartilage was when I was 15, my 2nd cartilage was 3 months later when I was 16.
I'd wanted a 3rd lobe for years but worried 5 in one ear would be too many. But I finally went for it nearly 10 years after my 2nd cartilage was done, got it done 4 weeks ago, so only 2 more to go then I can change the studs. Currently having a look to see what I want to go in them when the time comes. I'm so glad I finally done it.

@ToooTicky I have the apsara too 😍

ToooTicky · 18/02/2019 20:53

@OnTheFrow you evidently have great taste Grin I only got my daith pierced so I could have the apsara!

The daith piercing didn’t hurt at all, but was very tender for weeks after, whereas conch piercing was painful but felt fine within a few days.

OnTheFrow · 18/02/2019 21:19

I was shocked at how little it hurt too and how fast it healed! On my other ear I have my conch and "tash rook" and they are taking forever to heal!

How long did your conch take?

OP posts:
ToooTicky · 18/02/2019 21:42

I only had my conch done two weeks ago, so it’s still healing. How long ago did you get yours?

I really want some sort of rook piercing next...

Averysmallcasserole · 18/02/2019 22:30

I’m struggling with helix currently. It’s all swollen and so sore. 4 months later. What have I done? Any tips ? Wanting another but this is putting me off

Steeve · 18/02/2019 22:33

My ears boring, just a lobe at the moment, have various other piercings. Seeing these pics I think I need to go see my piercer, been meaning to go but not got round to it. Would like a conch, daith and tragus, maybe an industrial!

Rockbird · 18/02/2019 22:40

Also struggling with two helix piercings. Had them done 8 months ago and they're not much better than they were after two months. I also want more but it's putting me off.

sweetkitty · 18/02/2019 22:48

My latest done 2 weeks ago. This is boring ear, other ear has diath, tragic and helix and double lobe.

Any cartilage piercing can take up to 6month to a year to heal, mine were done like 9 years ago and some days they can still be delicate

talktoo · 19/02/2019 08:46

Cartilage piercings can hurt for months. I've known people who ended up taking them out as they never stopped hurting. Some people are lucky and they heal quickly. Maybe it depends if a nerve is damaged during piercing? And that's pretty impossible to control.

QueenofLouisiana · 19/02/2019 08:53

My helix took 11 months to feel healed and I left it another month or so before I changed the stud to a hoop.
My daith healed far more quickly and was a lot less painful. It’s funny because people always ask about the daith, assuming that would be the ‘worst’ of the piercings.

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 19/02/2019 09:02

Has anyone got a forward helix?

I'm a bit obsessed with them at the moment, I currently only have lobe position 1 and 2 pierced on both ears (but rarely use the 2nd lobe hole). But am very tempted with a forward helix in my left ear...

MapleSpice · 19/02/2019 09:18

This is mine! The other ear is the same. I was going to have a conch with a hoop which is why there's a gap but I'm undecided now, and stuck with a daft gap Grin

Suggestions for my next? I'm thinking take the helix piercings higher up next and maybe a forward helix.

The daiths and tragus were my favourites, no bother at all since day one. Helix piercings are a nightmare Hmm

OnTheFrow · 19/02/2019 09:26

I had the conch and "tash rook" done last summer so I guess these things just take time.

I am also thinking I'd like a forward helix but I can just imagine catching it a lot and being a pain with hair. Here is what I have now. Excuse the messy hair. School run and wind are not my friends.

Maplespice your ear is so pretty!!! Was the tragus very painful?

I've only got a few lobe piercings and two helix piercings that my friend did for me with an earring when I was dead 'ard and 15. I really want to get more and never realised daith etc piercings even existed, they look amazing! I obviously have become more sensible in my old age and would get a professional to do it, how much do tragus etc type piercings cost these days?
