I don't have a large budget, I've just found out my local gym does a 33% discount for people on benefits. I think I should really do this.

I have no clothes that I could work out in. I have a large tummy I need to control.

Does anyone have any suggestions that aren't super expensive?

Lots of good ideas on here. Love podcasts! Keep me more “on a level” than music. And free, always a bonus.

Congratulations to a couple of the PPs on impressive weight losses.

I haven't read the whole thread, but agree with another poster that couch to 5k is brilliant!
I found a local school field to run around after hours as I didn't want to run along a road (self conscious) it's totally private and I love running now.

@BrendaUrie

Primary are great for larger size workout wear. I felt like you when I started going to the gym. Now I strip off as even though I know I don’t look amazing I’m working out and I’m fucking hot (temperature).

I found it difficult to use treadmills or run as the weight impact on my knees was excruciating. I do stationary bike for exercise and lots of weight lifting.

I am so much stronger and a lot fitter than before.
