Any & Other Stories stories, anyone?

I've seen a dress I like (not a common occurrence these days ). I've never bought from & Other Stories, before, so checked online. The online reviews are not good. 1/5 stars on trustpilot. Now I know people are more likely to review to complain than to compliment, but this seems a bit... more than one bad day.

But I've seen Stories mentioned a lot on here. Are they really that bad? Normally I'd just leave it but I really like the dress...

I've bought loads from them and never had any problems!

I bought a lovely maxi from there last year - it had pockets! Really good quality thick cotton with straight seams - both seem difficult to find.

Delivery is expensive unless you spend a lot, I can't remember if you have to pay for returns. It's quite slow as well, like all H&M group brands. I find their clothes a bit hit and miss on fit (like all shops I suppose, to be fair!) but I LOVE their shoes and boots and own several pairs. I think they cut the clothes (especially dresses) for very tall people.

Never looked at trustpilot, but I agree people will probably only bother to register on a completely separate site to write a review if they've had an extreme (usually bad) experience.

Can you get to a store? They do have lots of lovely things and the stores are nice, they even have a sink so you can try the handwashes and stuff.

I recently bought a coat from them , it was great quality i thought, and , really fast delivery, and when i returned it because it was too big,the replacement arrived in 2 days and the refund despite the fact it was DPD to NL ,(but a free return ) was processed in 5days ..Id definitely buy from them again

Highly recommend. I buy from them all the time.

I buy from them too, with no problems. Online returns are free. But I have 2 issues with them:
1 - The delivery charge pisses me off, and
2 - they don't accept online returns in a real store
The last one really annoys me. I think they used to accept the returns but they don't atm. Pain.

Shoes are great quality. Love the clothes but the quality is only ok and hit and miss. They use a lot of viscose which is a bitch to wash.

I have bought quite a bit from them and never had any issues. Not the quickest deliveries but fine and outside sale time quick returns too. The clothes are generally good quality.
