Is there a way I can make my nose look smaller using make up?

I had jaw surgery a year ago for medical reasons but it drastically alters your face shape and I now have a much smaller chin and jaw which I'm pleased about. But the downside is my nose seems wider. Are there are any clever tricks I can use to help with this?

You could try (subtly) contouring the sides of your nose which would give the impression that it's narrower. If you do a search on youtube there are bound to be video tutorials on this.

I put a bit of very light concealer from in between my eyebrows to half way down the bridge and smudge/blend it in. But I feel my nose is a bit wide rather than bumpy or whatever so different clever tricks required for different shaped noses!
I don't do contouring at my age but I use a darker foundation on the sides of my nose and blend it in.

Thank you. Yes it's wide rather than bumpy or anything like that.

What do you use to contour?

Use a bronzer and an eye shadow brush, lightly apply either side down the length of your nose. I also shade in the under nostril area. Then a touch of concealer in the middle of the bridge of your nose. Dead easy once you know how.

A really fully eyeshadow brush works best if you have one.

Fluffy even!

Contour the sides in but also highlight down the middle. You can get little sponges for this or use an eyeshadow brush.
