Bloody Actylics! After removal care?

I had acrylics for the first time before Christmas for our wedding,, since having them removed I’ve kept my now horrifically thin natural nails short as they are bending/tearing off at the slightest thing.

Is there anything I can do to strengthen them as they’re now just over halfway grown out so at least another 4 weeks of crap nails!

Out of curiosity if you keep getting them done what state are your nails in? Is it better to keep getting them redone or as I feel at the moment never again!

How where they removed? Acrylics and gel doesn't damage nails but poor removal does.

They were removed with acetone, the damage seems to be from the filing of the nail?

All nail varnish remover whether it contains acetone or not spoils my nails. Acetone completely wrecks them.
I'm growing out mine from a few goes of gel polish.
I was advised to apply oil on them three to four times a day. I use a mix of jojoba and vitamin E oils and rub it into my nails and cuticles.
I'm envious my daughter has got her father's strong nails.

Look for Solar Oil - use on the cuticles and nails at night and rub in.

I bought some nail oil from Wilko for my DD ( there are loads of good reviews for the Essence range) she really likes it .

OPI Nail Envy. It was the only thing that worked for mine after I had acrylics. Never again.
