I've never had 'my nails done' but am thinking about it before I go on holiday. Are there different options about what I could have done and what's the difference?

Think it depends on what you're after!

If you're happy with the length and shape of your nails you can get a gel polish. This is just a hard (and pretty!) colour/ design over your own nails that will last a couple of weeks then you go back and get it taken off.

If you want more length you can get either gel or acrylic extensions which you can get to the length you desire and again a colour or design using gel polish on top.

Both will last you a few weeks and it's best to book to get them removed...there are ways to do it yourself but I wouldn't recommend them!

Make sure you go to a reputable salon with a nail technician that has the proper qualifications!
