Benefit They're real mascara vs Aldi dupe

I haven't tried the Aldi one but W7 do a dupe that is pretty good

I have the Aldi one and it's ok, nothing special.
If you're after a cheap mascara I've just bought one from Primark for £2.50. It's the one in the gold tube and is brilliant! I usually use high end mascaras but this one is great, especially for the money.

@suze28 how does it compare to they're real though?

I've tried Primark mascara before and it was rubbish. I don't think it was the gold one though.

They're real is the best one I've used in a long long time. I might just buy the Aldi one to try it myself and see how it compares.

I've not used They're Real for a few years but do really like Bad Girl Bang.

It's not like There're real at all but it's ok for the price.

They're Real is the only mascara which doesn't give me panda eyes within an hour or two. I've tried the Primark one but didn't think it was very good.

Plus They're Real comes in brown. I'm pale and blonde so it suits me more than black.

@misskittybeaudelais is that what used to be collection 2000? I used to like their stuff.

I normally like Barry M and soap & glory too so I'm surprised they don't do a mascara as good as they're real.

Another vote for the Primark false lash mascara in the gold tube; gives me similar length to They’re Real but easier to remove.

The Aldi one is fine and lasted all day. An odd texture but looked OK!

After about three weeks though, I started getting really sore eyes - can't say for sure if it was the mascara but I switched back to No7 for a week and the irritation stopped immediately, so I binned the Aldi mascara (& the blusher...).

I thought the Aldi one performed exactly how you'd expect a £2.99 mascara to perform. Not great tbh and didnt seem to be much in the tube. I second @MissKittyBeaudelais recommendation for Collection lash surge

I thought it was £6.99?

I'll try the collection one because I used to really like their liquid eyeliner.
