I used a colour stripper a couple of weeks ago to get rid of mid/dark brown hair dye. It left my hair a nice light ginger brown (I was wanting a gingery colour). It has since darkened quite a bit to a darker auburn brown, I haven't dyed it or anything, I suspect it's just re-oxidised.
I really would like it a few shades lighter, to match the root area. I was thinking of trying the Garnier Nutrisse D+++ Bleach Lightener, would this work? I don't want bright orange hair or blonde just a nice light auburn colour.
I've had highlights done at the hairdressers in the past & they have never worked out for me, resulting in yellow streaks & just cost way too much!
