Evening out - what do you wear??

Just curious as to what you all wear on nights out? I'm talking nice meals out as opposed to clubs or bars.
Jeans and a nice top just feels so dull.
Any brands you recommend that sell dressier items? But not sequins and leopard.

I'm not the most fashionable of people but I know what I like and what suits my shape, the last few times out this is what I've worn:

Black corduroy A-line skirt, black tights, floral high neck long sleeve blouse, black suede cowboy boots, black teddy jacket.

Black skinny jeans, burgundy ankle boots, white & black striped shirt, khaki blazer.

Black and white polka dot dress, tan skinny belt, black tights, black leather jacket, burgundy ankle boots.

Like I said I'm not the trendiest but I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and I've learnt to dress for my (pear) shape

Recent ‘out for dinner’ outfits:

Black leather mini
Black shoe boots
Cream silk shirt with a black bra
Black opaque tights

Black leather trousers
Black stilettos
Red silk sleeveless top

This is a great thread, I'm also struggling with this exact thing.

Last few meals out:

Cold weather
Tartan shirt dress, black tights, black flat chelsea boots
Navy boat neck merino jumper, gold sequinned skirt, navy tight and chelsea boots (love this outfit)

Warm weather:
Blue polka dot skater dress, gold flat pointy mary janes (not very fashionable but I love this dress)
Red wrap midi dress, red belt, stan smiths, denim jacket
Blue stripy midi shirt dress, blue skinny belt, navy saltwaters

I like dresses for going out!

Statement resin earrings
Plain Jumpsuit
Neat heels

Ah yes, I’ve also worn:

Big gold hoops (always big gold hoops!)

I also really like Great Plains and Mango have some awesome dresses.

Jeans and a nice top don’t have to be boring, black coated jeans are fab for going ou with heals, trainers or boots.

Rarely go out, but birthday tomorrow and going out for a meal with family and will be wearing a denim boiler suit from Topshop. Rolled up at the bottom with heeled ankle boots.

Look at Sosandar for dresses to wear with boots. Mango, H&M, Zara also good and inexpensive. Others may disagree!

I hate my legs but I wear dresses with opaques for work so why not evening? I tend to stick with jeans/ coated jeans or my fake leather trousers. I'm feeling inspired to look for dresses for going out.
