Is this ok for a wedding (snakeskin pattern dress)?

So I've had this dress for about 5 years now and have worn it a couple of times (the eBay link is not mine, just the first pic I found online).

I have a wedding coming up (afters only) and I'm wondering if I could wear it. The style is quite dressy I think, but it's the pattern I'm not sure about.

Honestly the dress doesn’t look smart, maybe I’m being harsh but not what I would normally see at at wedding. Maybe for a night out it would be fine, but a wedding? My opinion would be no

Justagirl - do you mean because of the pattern or the shape/cut? Maybe it's hard to tell in the photo but the style of it is definitely smart in real life. My only concern is whether the pattern is a bit much for a wedding.

Really pretty and absolutely perfect for a wedding reception. I think the pattern is very subtle, actually. It's hardly like you're going full on Kat Slater. Smile

IMO snakeskin doesn't suit a wedding. The style of dress is fine, but I don't like the pattern.

Sorry, just saw you are going with it. My opinion is probably swayed by my not liking snakeskin patterns anyway.
