Wellies for teens

After a growth spurt, the boy is in adult sized footwear at the age of 11! So not yet a teen, but the size of one. Now I have school shoes and trainers sorted but am stuck for wellies. He has always had Hunter wellies - a) because I'm fanatical about suitable footwear for feet, and b) because they get worn a lot - we live on a farm so they have to be comfortable for walking distances.

So - kids Hunters stop at size 4. And I need adult size 7 - but the legs are too long on the adult wellies! Even the ladies ones. Just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for (preferably rubber) wellies, reasonably good, in adult sizes, where the legs aren't too long. Because all I can find so far are basic dunlops and he reckons he can't walk far in those without it being painful and difficult to walk (plus they are heavy).

Bison are a cheaper version of muck boots & cost about £30.

Lovely to wear, warm & waterproof.

My mock boots were £25 in the sale - keep an eye out

Thanks. Saw some "Nora" boots that had good reviews - but they're the same height as Hunters! Wondering if I should get Hunter short boots until he gets a bit taller. Cheapest Muckboots I could find were £90! Does say they might be too warm outside of winter. Off to look at Bison.....

To be honest my Aigle ladies wellies would fit him! They're the Aiglentine ones not the chunky unisex ones. But don't want to part with them and they cost about £90 as well - a lot for growing feet.

I have three quarter length Hunters and ankle height hunters a bit like a Chelsea boot.

Thanks! Can you link the 3//4 length Hunters please.
