All Saints Bales - do they stretch?

So I've wanted a leather jacket for a long time and my DH and my parents are going in on buying me one for my upcoming birthday. I tried on one today in the shop and it seemed a bit tight for a size 10 (I'm normally an 8 in tops but go for 10 in coats). She told me it would stretch, but could barely get it done up!

For those who own one, do they stretch/give enough? The sales lady thought the 10 had a bit too much leather round the arms but that it would be a good fit, not to go any bigger because of stretch! Do they actually stretch out?

Hi OP I've got my eyes on the same jacket, it's s beauty isn't it? I was also advised by a sales advisor they will stretch so not to be tempted to go up a size.

I'm watching for sales like a hawk though as even 30% off it will be s massive discount but I've not seen one since November time.

Going to watch this thread and others to bide my time.

Yes .. buy it tight .. I sold mine because it grew too big . 😬

I have one. Be warned that they can vary in fit - even in the same size so always best to try on. They should just about do up although hardly anyone actually does zip them. I found this guide helpful. Good luck and I hope you enjoy wearing it.

I have the Cargo and I love it - it’s defibitely given a little bit although was a more casual fit in the first place than the Bales.
