Subtle brow product

I have fairly light, sparse eyebrows. For the past several years I’ve used the Benefit browzings kit to fill them in, but I’m tired of how heavy the wax and powder looks.

Ive tried using the powder by itself but it looks weird on brows as sparse as mine. I’m looking for an alternative. Ideally something which is buildable so I can find a happy medium between my natural brows and Carla delevigne superbrows

Not interested in microblading etc

Soap And Glory Archery is pretty good.

I use Benefit Gimme Brow it's like a mascara for your brows so it grips all the small hairs to fill in the sparse bits. The pencil is good too

Second Soap and Glory Archery. I’ve got big but sparse brows and it fills them in a treat and looks very natural

ComicsansHorror · 13/02/2019 20:33

Ooh I will try the soap and glory.

I have tried benefit gimme brow once before but found it a bit too heavy. I could always try a lighter shade I suppose

I don’t like to recommend beauty pie because it’s really not for everyone, but if you don’t mind having to subscribe for 3 months and buy a few items, this www.beautypie.com/eyes/brow/superbrow-colour-pomade-blonde-girl has revolutionised my sparse fair eyebrows. It’s like a solid mouse and is so much better (for me) than any pencil or powder I’ve tried. It’s subtle, easy to apply and lasts all day.

I've tried lots of things and keep going back to the Rimmel basic eye brow pencil! It costs about £3 and comes in three different shades. Nothing else makes my brows look as natural as it does.

IloveJudgeJudy · 14/02/2019 13:37

Benefit gimme brow is excellent, or their goof proof eyebrow pencil. I always get good brows with them and always go back when I try something else

Another vote here for Soap and Glory.

Definitely go much lighter and much cooler toned than you think. My sister is a make-up artist and this is the best advice that I have shared many times over!

I am a brunette, yet the colour of my pencil is a tawny beige! It just adds definition without making them darker or heavy. Anything too brown and warm looks strange on the eyebrows for some reason, (unless you are a redhead) everyone's eyebrows are a very cool tone regardless of hair colour.

Another vote for benefit, I use their tiny thin pencil in the silver packaging and their clear brow gel.

I've got a kit by GOSH, Lisa Eldridge recommended it a while back and I really like it. You can mix the colours together, and there's a little wax/gel too.
