Sandals

Probably a little early but I’m looking for a pair of sandals. I’ll likely wear them to death.

Ideally comfortable for walking in - not hiking type walking but around town, to the pub or supermarket, baby out in the pram, type walking. So probably flat or low, but not a completely flat/thin sole that seems to be a feature of almost everything on the asos website.

I like a gladiator type look, but I’m not welded to that idea. Likewise huaraches have peaked my interest. Basocally probably a brown/tan/metallic leather type option. Almost certainly not Birkenstock’s or similar.

Am I just looking too early?

I should say something like this would fit the bill (though I’d like something more stylish feeling) but the price is horrifying

(American site I’m afraid)

I swear by Saltwater - you shrink the leather to fit your feet and despite having feet that blister at the merest hint of rubbing, I've walked miles in mine with no issues.

I find Clark's sandals really comfortable

Fit flops have a great range now. Have moved on from their original bulky design.

Thanks. I’ll have a look at salt water and fit flop.

Ive scanned Clark’s but they just don’t have anything that feels right. I must be picky.
