Last time I wore a lot of bardot dresses/tops and it wasn’t comfortable! I’m not sure what to go for this year.

Cotton or linen dresses/blouses/shorts/skirts.
Definitely all things I can wear a bra with.
I often find that the more flesh I expose, the less comfortable I am as the sun is blasting away on my skin.
Last year I got a couple of very loose cotton blouses from H&M and they were great, lovely and airy. Not all that flattering but I didn't care.
And always comfy shoes ..!
But then again, I am old. I love being comfy.

I'm a lover of play suits and jumpsuits but not always practical

Zara always do some nice linen dresses

Doesn’t it rather depend on the holiday?

Iceland in January- thermals and a bobble hat.
The Lakes - waterproofs and walking boots.
Abu Dhabi - modest summer dress when outside of hotel beach. On beach a swimming costume and sarong.
City break - depends on city.

True @Cherry! My mistake. Just a family beach holiday in the summer.
I like the suggestions so far! Thank you.

Swimsuits, one bikini, a paréo, two pairs of shorts, sleeveless tops, sandals, a sundress and a dressy-dress for going out to a party or nice restaurant. Also one or two pashminas. I don't care if they're unfashionable; they're lightweight, perfect for cooler evenings, flattering and beautiful.

I wear colourful bra size underwired halterneck bikins from Figleaves.

Short beach dresses & Cotton or chiffon beaded short kaftans from River Island & Accessorize.

Mini skirts / short shorts with vest tops from a variety of places such as River Island, New Look, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Monsoon/ Accessorize etc.

That's when I go on beach holidays where it's so hot you don't want to wear much.

Oh yes footwear - usually flip flops for the beach & jewelled thong sandals for evening.

T shirt dresses from h&m are comfy and cheap.
