What to buy with a £500 gift voucher from Selfridges

I’ve had a recent big birthday and have been given a £500 voucher for Selfridges from a group of very lovely friends.

I would never normally spend that amount on myself and in a way it’s quite exciting that I will have to do so.

I’d love all your suggestions please.

Arrange to meet one of their personal shoppers. I think they're free if you're spending that much! I did this when I won a £500 voucher at Fenwicks a few years ago. They'll winkle out stuff you won't find on the rails, and accompany you around the store. Makes you feel like a star!

Put it towards some premium jewellery, watch/scarf or handbag/purse? Something you can use everyday that will make you smile and remember your lovely friends!

I'd also buy jewellery it will last a lot longer than clothes and will be a nice memory of your birthday and your fab friends.

I would buy a very nice bag! Off to go pick my imaginary bag now!

That's nice gift. For me going in to Selfridges is a bit like going in to a candy store...I get overwhelmed with all the loveliness .
I would buy a nice purse, or bag, or jewellery...just so much choice. and when you've bought it, go and have a nice glass of something at the Champagne bar. Enjoy!

Just thinking about it now is making me want to pop in at the weekend
