Best cheap mascara for staying power?

Help! I have a long event coming and dont want to look like a panda. Which mascara will stay put?

Boots No7 in a gold tube. It will stay until the next day if you don't take it off.

I always used to get panda eyes before I sued this and now I don’t use anything else.

Aldi extreme volume. I think it's about £2.49!

I use the Aldi waterproof mascara during summer when in and out of pool/sweating buckets and it's great. Doesn't budge.

But last couple weeks I have been trialing flower beauty warrior mascara and I love it.
(Quite enamoured with whole range tbh just singing praises of primers on another thread 🤗 )

Narrowing it down to what I can get - my Aldi doesn't stock mascara, no primark here and no flower beauty.

I want to try these all! But when did mascara get so expensive??

Rimmel extra super lash - lasts for two days with no smudging, flaking and they sell it in boots, Superdrug, Wilkos, Asda etc.

I rate the Primark Amplified but I actually prefer Rimmel Extra 3D, which hopefully is easier to get hold of.

Ooh I know there are rimmel stands. That one looks possible!

Are those rimmel ones waterproof versions?

The Rimmel one I use (3d extra) is not waterproof.

I'm currently using a really cheap one from Boots, white tube, the really cheap Boots makeup range (natural collection) - no fibres in it as I have sensitive eyes but it seems to stay on.

Yes you can get Rimmel extra super lash in waterproof but I use the normal one with no problems.

This is great, comparable to Lancôme which I used to use but only £4.99

Do you have a Superdrug near you? If so the collection range has a fab mascara that has a plastic wand which is really good for pulling out the little lashes... and their liquid eyeliner is the best I’ve ever tried. I’ll see if I can google which one...

Any waterproof mascara will be better than a non waterproof.

I've tried lots of the ones mentioned here and a couple of £££ ones and some stay better than others but none have really impressed me tbh. Do your eyes water a lot or have you very 'oily' eye lids OP?

I have the oily eye lid thing and i'm finding Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Waterproof is staying on pretty well at the mo. £8 i think.
