Opinions on these chelsea boots please?

I really want some chelsea boots but I have the most awful trouble finding shoes/boots that don't give me horrendous pain. I have a bunion that is playing up constantly at the moment (oh the glamour) too. Opinions on these boots please? Are Hotter an absolute no no? Are they hideous?

They look perfectly respectable to me - I was expecting frumpfest but they're fine! Might look at some for myself in fact...

I'm not looking for anything 'special' iykwim, just comfortable and don't make me cry!

They look fine, but I am not keen on the zip. That’s the bit that says “Hotter” to me.

I quite like them, but I am old and uncool and have enormous feet.
I can live with the zip, but it says “children and old ladies” a bit.

I had bunions too, the pain is horrendous isn't it! But I bit the bullet and had both feet operated on (scarf osteotomy) - best decision ever, painfree for 15 years now!

Well I've ordered them thinking that there's nothing wrong with 'children and old ladies', so fingers crossed they'll be fine. I have lots of boots with a zip I had no idea they gave such an impression! 😂😂

They look fine, but will they be wide enough? I know hotter are supposed to be comfy, but I have yet to find a pair I could squeeze my feet into.
