Charity shop help

I read all the charity shop threads very enviously as I never seem to find any bargains, partly because I’m always sidetracked by the books. Can anyone recommend any good, bargain-ful charity shops in North London? I would love to be able to join in with the bragging.

If you happen to live in Muswell Hill, the Dog's Trust shop on Fortis Green Rd often has good quality ladies' clothes (I've had several excellent coats) at good prices.

Don't bother with the other charity shops in Muswell Hill and Crouch End - often good brands, but worn out and overpriced.

Thanks, will give it a go. I don’t live in Muswell Hill (unfortunately) but can get there quite easily. I’m closer to Winchmore Hill, but the shops there are not too fruitful

Oh I don't live there either (and I can't recommend the ones in Walthamstow except for toys) - I just check out the shops in posher areas when I'm visiting friends!

Not sure it's worth a specific visit, it's always just chance what they have in.
