No idea what to wear. Dinner and cocktails at Harvey nics.

I'm petite 4/6, 30c, blonde, paler skin, mid 30's. I tend to go for dresses. I've not been before so do know if it's smart or trendy or both. Budget is high street.

Having a major panic What on earth do I wear?

Help please? X

Anyone? I'm drowning in a sea of websites!

What sort of shops do you like? What style of dress? A dress, ankle boots and leather jacket would be fine if that’s your usual style. If it was me, I would wear my leather skirt, a fine knit top, opaques, patent brogues, and faux fur coat, but I tend not to be very fancy!

I don't really have a favourite shop. I tend to go for fitted dresses and heels. I'd like something dressyish but with an edge to it. Dress and boots would work. I've got a leather skirt. I'm hopeless at putting anything together. I'm ridiculously self conscious and anxious about what I wear. I've cancelled many a night out because I couldn't face getting ready.

What about the leather skirt with a blouse? I’ve only been in Harvey N’s for early evening cocktails and it was more cool than dressy-uppy, but that was Edinburgh so there were also tourists there in big waterproof coats and the like.
