If you need anything, they stop trading 14th March. Sad times. I remember DM buying from them when I was younger

No! That was the first brand I really engaged with as a late teenager. The catalogue, the samples, the excitement of a parcel coming. I took my dds to the store on the Champs Elysées and it was wonderful. Such a shame.

I know, it's really sad. It's sad what's happening to a lot of well known names that have been around for years and yesrs. I'm going to order some stuff to keep. They're having a big sale

They are only closing down in the UK.

wowfudge · 10/02/2019 07:51

Is it Brexit related does anyone know? I've thought for a long time that they are overpriced if they can have so many offers available constantly.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Deathraystare · 10/02/2019 10:01

I never bought much but liked the Honeysuckle scent.

The message on their website makes it sound as though their closing in the UK is due to Brexit. I used to love them when I was a teenager.

Yes, just the UK operation closing down :( I have only ever bought when I've actually been in France, in the shop, so have actually only ever looked at the website a couple of times before. They had a fabulous advent calendar in store last year, not available on the uk website, so luckily managed to fit into my suitcase to bring back Really lovely products in it 😍

Got some great bargains on the site though! And the free gifts were great, my ordered arrived yesterday. Stocked up on the main two products that I use, and got some other bits and pieces too. At least I'll have enough of my favourites to last at least a year!

Would just say, the eyeshadows I have had from them are not hugely pigmented (at least the 3 I have), but everything else seems lovely and really good quality

. I'd definitely recommend their Shea butter lip balms and their chamomile face wipes. I discovered the face wipes while on holiday when I found that the wipes I'd brought with me did not agree with my sunburnt face so bought them and they are so gentle and pretty good at even removing waterproof make up. Their lipsticks I've had were really good, both matt and satin, and their waterproof eyeliners seem good. They stay put (even through a rather extended, unexpected daytime nap!). I've got them in green and purple currently bogof). If you use shower gels, is recommend the lotus flower and sage, and the mango and coriander - I got those in my advent calendar and they smell delicious. Also their Sleeping Care night repair hair for dry/damaged hair. It has jojoba oil in it - another good advent calendar treat!
