Fake tan for cool toned skin

Is there such a thing? I'm going away for a few days soon and decided to try to look glowy beforehand.

I've tried St tropez express mousse yesterday, left it on for 2.5 hours and look decidedly orange today. Previously I've tried St tropez gradual, St moritz spray and foam and he-shi tan. They all look too orange on me.

I then bought v expensive Oskia products. Same kind of fail. I have an allergy to all things coconut so this rules out a few brands and products and it also needs to be cruelty free.

Is there any hope?

It's a pain in the butt getting a natural glow when you're pale! I've tried loads.

Try He-Shi. Made by Irish ladies (not literally!) but us celts have a fairly snowy skin tone and it works pretty well.

Some YouTube reviews are handy if you're looking for a choice. Quite often they recommend the darker ones as they give a cooler tone. There's a brand called Australis that have different tones but I haven't tried them yet.

Isle of paradise is really good it's colour correcting and comes in 3 shades.

this article suggests that if you have cool or red/pink based skin tones then you should go for a green based fake tan

Oo, do you know of any? He-Shi is pretty darn close but I'd love one actually made for cool tones.

I'm not overly pale but my skin tone and colouring is definitely neutral /cool. After another shower and moisturiser, the St tropez doesn't look too bad but it's definitely orangey rather than golden.

Bondi Sands liquid glow gives a gorgeous bronzey colour without being orange. It's gradual as well so you can choose how dark you go.
No guide colour to it, so no stained clothes or bed sheets but you have to be extra careful making sure you've not missed anywhere.

Skinny Tan is also excellent for bronze and not orange.
Don't be put off by how muddy it looks when it goes on. Wash it off and it looks stunning. Not OTT or patchy.
Fades off lovely too.
