What shoes with this dress?

Bought this on the summer with no particular 'occasion' to wear it to. Now I do - I'd like to wear it to the 'next day bbq' after my Dsis's wedding in NZ next week.
So it's going to be hot, pretty informal (don't mind being most dressed up there - only there for 3 days total so want to look my best each day!)
I'm 5'8" and a sz 12-14. Norky, good legs.
I have white strappy heels and white courts (yes indeed!) but both seem too dressy, flip flops / strappy flat sandals seems too flimsy somehow...
the blue in the dress is almost an electric blue, not navy, so any navy espadrilles would be wrong.
Help!!

I also think espadrille wedges in a bright colour - office has some nice orange ones here and in yellow here. I like these bright red ones from dune too.

For the BBQ day after the wedding I'd wear with saltwater sandals (i.e. flat and comfortable shoes) in a bright colour, yellow or green or red probably, whatever you will use the most in the future.

Bright, gold, silver or tan wedges .
Not white.
White shoes ,aside plimsols or trainers always look odd and cheap.

Jandals

That's pretty . I'd personally wear them with wedges , espadrille type ones , still nice but not as formal as heeled sandals .

I think brown or nude scrappy heels / wedges - always look good with blue tones and in the sun
