I'm 37. I have a red flush to my cheeks and nose. it's always there but gets worse in cold weather, exercise (many people ask if I'm ok, must look like I'm about to have a heart attack) and drinking alcohol (don't drink much any more for this reason)

are there any decent products or procedures that can help? both to reduce it and conceal it. I've used a few green tinted concealers but always think they just give me a bit of a deathly grey hue.

It sounds like Rosacea. Have you visited your gp? I think it can get worse over time if it’s not treated- my mum has it. For the facial redness, IPL can work wonders xx

I find Clinique moisture surge CC cream really helpful for giving a light and natural cover for redness (I also get the alcohol flush which puts me off drinking - v annoying!)

I've been wondering whether to go to doctors, I worry they will say it's nothing though. other that this my skin is in good nick.
Thanks for suggestions, will investigate

It sounds very much like Rosacea. If it’s just redness Ipl often works well. Or you can use soothing products to avoid exacerbating your skin. I’ve found Kalme good and the chameleon concealer is brilliant. Azeleic acid is also very good at reducing my redness and flushing. I used Garden of Wisdom serum under my Kalme moisturiser and it’s brilliant. I’ve run out and my face is very flushed today.
Also look at taking some probiotics as Rosacea and gut health are linked together.
