Has anyone tried this? I'm a sucker for products like this and I'm feeling smug after resisting the Dyson Airwrap (for now!). I've seen a few Youtube reviews which look good but I don't really trust them anymore.

I went to buy one of these yesterday, and was able to try it. Glad I did, as I didn't like it at all. It's heavy for a start. It did straighten my hair (I had washed it and left to air dry the night before), but it left this funny little kink at the bottom of my hair, sort of like if I had used a barrel curlier IYNWIM.

Maybe I would get better with practice, but will stick with my Revlon brush thing for now, and the odd tidy up with the hair straighteners.

Whilst I was there I had a demo on the Airwrap, which up until then I had no interest in. OMG, I love it. The assistant showed me how to use the curlers and I was able to do it myself. I came out of the store with lovely bouncy curls.

Unfortunately none in stock anywhere at the moment , but I am getting one as soon as more available.

Still numb I love my airwrap it's amazing. You can check on the John Lews app where they have them in stock as they aren't available on line. Just click where is says check in store stock.

I got mine that way a few weeks ago. And even if they don't have the version you want, you can order the additional brush head for example from Dyson which is what I did.

The fact that Lydia Millen has been plugging it makes me go off it. She even posted again about it today, because clearly there had been some questions about whether it straightens baby hairs, so she went on the defensive, showing that it did. It was all sell, sell, sell. She also has a dyson, so I just don't trust her review.

Lidl have a version of this brush in this week. £29.99, you could try that version and save some money.

Thanks Numb, where did you go to try it? You are not helping me resist the Airwrap mind!

Yes, agree about Lydia Millen, everything is amazing, a game changer and free to her. I don't know why some YouTubers can't give more honest reviews, I've seen a few who do and they don't seem to get blacklisted. I did find a better (honest) review of the hot brush and I don't think it's for me.

My friend has it. She has very long thick wavy hair and loves it for a straightish look that's less straight than ghds. It would be useless on my fine hair so I'll stick with my airwrap.
