Does anyone have any advice for where is beat to buy bare minerals make up? Just wondering if any department stores do reward schemes etc?

Boots sell it Smile

Debenhams do bare minerals and sometimes have offers on

flissfloss65 · 08/02/2019 15:52

I got mine from QVC as part of a reduced set.

www.feelunique.com - join their platinum reward scheme and nominate Bare Minerals as your favourite brand and get 10% off every purchase of that brand.

Or www.fabled.com as they usually give 15% off your first order with them.

Look at the colours in store then look on QVC. You need to know your colours otherwise you'll end up sending them back ( and pay P&P)
They say "If you're like Nicole Kidman try ABC or Courtney Cox try XYZ "

Or ' Medium suits most tones' (not mine though)

But they do some good kits, with brushes or the concealer or Mineral Veil sometimes .
I don't like their mascara , lip gloss is nice and I loved one of the liquid serums .

Lily Lolo are better and cheaper and they have a discount for new customers. They don't sell in stores though. You can buy samples to test the colours too if you want.

Thanks everyone. I really only use the prime time and the blemish remedy powder foundation. I buy cheaper mascara, etc. It's the prime time that kills me as it's £21 and only lasts 4-6 weeks. I have oily skin and without it it feels as any foundation I put on just evaporates off leaving me shiny.

I bought the mineral foundation on Ebay for less than half the price they charge in Boots. Worth a look

MrsChollySawcutt · 09/02/2019 17:45

If it's half the price and on eBay it's probably fake. Be careful, you could be putting toxic crap on your face.

Bluesheep8 · 10/02/2019 08:02

Definitely QVC. What's your colouring/skin tone? I can probably advise....

Luvacuppatea · 10/02/2019 08:40

Have you looked at buying directly from BM online? Or even just sign up for emails from them? I regularly buy just two products and often get offers of a percentage off ( 10% - 15%) or other promotions like gift with purchase........

I go to Debenhams - I love it when they apply it & either but there or online. I still haven’t got the knack of the original powder though - I keep persevering but it never looks quite like it does when they do it!
